Blogger Interview with Inky

Hello Everyone! So here I am with my second blogger interview!

I want to thank Inky @ Sosooorna’s ✨Boring✨ Blog for being part of this interview. She is such a wonderful person and I have actually had the pleasure of interacting with her quite a bit thanks to blogging and I can say without a doubt that you will really enjoy her blog so be sure to check it out. So, let’s start the interview.

a) Tell my readers a bit about yourself and your blog. Why do you blog about the topic you blog about?

Hi! I’m Inky and I write about music, books, writing, wrap-ups, and anything really. I’m a teen blogger, and I really love frogs<33.

b) What are the topics you write about the most?

I write about myself a lot (I mean, I just finished a series called get to know the blogger…) and books probably :))

c) What is your favourite thing about blogging?

The people of the blogs. I love getting comments to get to know them.

d) Which bloggers or blogs do you admire and why?

I can’t list every blogger I admire, but here are my comfort bloggers:

Betty @theboxofwonder

Flora @florasweekshow

Maggie @maggiedoodles

Evin @curlysue’sramblings

e) What would you say is your biggest strength as a writer?

I think it’s because I’m able to express my thoughts in a good way, even negative thoughts.

f) Where do you see yourself in five years?

Well, I don’t think I would’ve finished school stuff yet, but I hope I am able to finish an entire book and maybe publish it? Writing is a big passion of mine.

h) What would be your perfect day? Plan it out from waking up to bedtime.

I would write all of this, but I’m lazy so I’ll be saying my thoughts. A perfect day is me waking up early, being overly positive in classes, working hard and being able to hang out with friends and family.

i) What’s your favourite thing you own and why?

My library lol.

j) What genres of books are you most into? What are some of your favourite authors in the genre?

Hmm, probably mystery and romance and mythology. My Fav authors are Holly Jackson, literally the author who wrote five feet apart, and Rick Riordan.

k) Any feedback for my blog?

Well, I haven’t checked it out much, it seems really cool :))

Thanks for this interview.

Indian Sweets’ Lover Award | Makar Sankranti Special!

Hi Everyone! I hope you all are fine! Happy Makar Sankranti and Pongal!

Makar Sankranti is an Indian festival when you fly kites and eat sweets! Lohri is another festival celebrated and so is Pongal! So I thought that I should do the tag today! So, let’s get to it!

I was nominated by Riddhi @ Whispering Stories and Dhriti @ Tomboy Diaries. Thank you so much guys for nominating me. Thanks to Prashansa @Reader’s Alcove for creating this award.

Rules:

  • Thank the person/fellow Indian sweets’ lover who nominated you! (or whose blog you found out about this award through)
  • Answer the 5 Indian sweets-related questions and add one of your own!
  • Share some pictures of your all time favorite Indian sweets.
  • Nominate 5 or more bloggers who love Indian sweets and leave an open nomination for every Indian sweets’ lover around the world.

Let’s get to it!

  1. What are your top three favorite Indian sweets?
Ok, so it’s Motichoor Ladoos, Kaju Katlis and Gulab Jamuns! They are so yummy!
  2. What’s an Indian sweet you haven’t tried yet but really want to?
Gajar Pak. I like Gajar Ka Halwa, and everyone says that Gajar Pak is like Gajar Ka Halwa only, so I think I will try it and confirm one day.
  3. Name one sweet which is traditionally made in your city/state.
Well, I am technically from Rajasthan- and well, Ghewar and Rabri are very famous there!
  4. Which kind of ladoo is your favorite?
I just love Motichoor Ladoos. They are so tasty!
  5. Have you ever tried a chocolate flavored Indian sweet? If yes, name it.
Yes, I have tried Chocolate Kaju Roll once. But I didn’t like it much.

My Question: Which is the most famous sweet in your area?

Riddhi Question: Have you ever tried making an Indian sweet at home? Which one?

Ok, so, I tried making Besan Ladoos one day, but I wasn’t able to make them properly.

Dhriti’s Question: What kind of Indian sweet are you?

I am a Kaju Katli. You can try out the quiz here.
