Blogger Interview with Dhriti

Hello Everyone! So here I am with another blogger interview!

I want to thank Dhriti @ The Tomboy Diaries for being part of this interview. She is such a wonderful person and I have actually had the pleasure of interacting with her quite a bit thanks to blogging and I can say without a doubt that you will really enjoy her blog so be sure to check it out. So, let’s start the interview.

a) Tell my readers a bit about yourself and your blog. Why do you blog about the topic you blog about?

My name is Dhriti Keni. I’m an extroverted 12-year-old tomboy. I despise math. Umm… I enjoy watching sports and reading books (but not textbooks of course). My blog has both reading and writing-related content, ranging from me doing tags to posting short writings. I write from time to time, with no set schedule because I can’t seem to stick to anything. I also post quirky and fun material. I enjoy blogging and making friends through WordPress. And that’s all I got.

b) What are the topics you write about the most?

My story series, The Super Spy, poems, short stories, and whatnot.

c) What is your favourite thing about blogging?

It helps me improve my writing skills, and reading short stories and poems on other blogs is really fun.

d) Which bloggers or blogs do you admire and why?

Nehal from Quirky Pages, she knows how to make a person laugh when they are down in the dumps and she writes amazingly (don’t get too cocky Nehal 😜) also Riddhi from Whispering Stories, she has a very kind heart and helping nature. She has great writing skills.

e) What would you say is your biggest strength as a writer?

Probably my creativity and imagination, I can make up stories in one second.  “A pen is mightier than a sword”.

f) Where do you see yourself in five years?

In 5 years, I’ll be 17. I’ll probably be a 12th grader blogger and author.

g) What would be your perfect day? Plan it out from waking up to bedtime.

Waking up to the sounds of birds chirping, breathing fresh air with a scent of green leave, staring at the beautiful mountains; the light blue clear sky and the valley. Then wake up go jogging in that windy atmosphere with music. Coming back home, reading a book. Eating noodles. Most importantly I should be surrounded by love. By people who have seen me entirely as who I am and said ‘She makes my life better’. By friends who laugh at my stupid jokes, who take pictures with me, who pat me on the head, who pull me in for hugs, who let me sleep on their lap. Friends who share the last piece, who thought of me when they saw this, whose eyes light up when I tell them about my ideas. I am seen. Seen by people who enjoy my company and never fail to point out my efforts. I should be experiencing something new. New life, new feelings, new buildings, new sounds, new monuments, new sunsets and stars. I am exploring a new world of adventure and possibility. I should be laughing. I should be myself. I’m hiding nothing about the recipe that makes me uniquely who I am. I am proud of myself. I feel perfectly at home in my skin and I’ve rented you out a room in my heart. Overall, I should be so happy.

(Or)

On a beach, away from the worries and the responsibilities of the world. A little music, a little silence. A good book, some sumptuous food. A soul at peace, on a never-ending day. After reading, if I get bored. I could go swimming, have some fun. Or maybe Travelling, travelling to Paris, New York….completing my bucket list, living life.

h) What’s your favourite thing you own and why?

I have a BFF diary, which my bestie and I wrote. She is still my BFF even though I have left that school. It was during 3rd grade. And some lucky marbles. Also a Rose quartz and Amethyst I had as a kid. And how could I forget, my precious iPad, really dear to my heart.

i) What genres of books are you most into? What are some of your favourite authors in the genre?

I read fiction, fantasy, sometimes middle grade, mystery. Probably all genres. It depends on my mood. I don’t have a favourite author, I read all authors. If I had to choose it would be JK Rowling and Rick Riordan.

j) Any feedback for my blog?

First off, I’m also new to this whole blogging thing. I’m still figuring it out. But let me just say that you are an amazing writer, you are really creative. And of course smart. Anyway thanks for having me here.
