The Favourite Book Character Tag |Original|

Hey Everyone! So here I am with another tag. I created this tag myself, hope I did a fine job. Let me know in the comments and don’t forget to participate. So, let’s get to it!

The Rules:

  • Thank the person who tagged you and leave a link to their blog.
  • Mention the creator of the tag: Srishti @ The Srishti Blog.
  • List the rules.
  • Share one or more book characters you think fits into each category.
  • Tag at least 5 people.
  • Have fun!

Here are the categories:

  • The dynamic
  • The powerful one
  • The smart one
  • The intelligent one
  • Who suffered a lot but has recovered
  • The most loved
  • The most famous
  • The unique

The dynamic

Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter. In the Harry Potter series, Neville begins as a frightened, awkward student. As he is shaped by conflicts with his friends and with the antagonists during the plot, his character changes into a brave young man, willing to fight for what he believes is right at the end of the series.

The powerful one

One Above All from Marvel Comics. One Above All is the most powerful of the Celestials. He was mistaken for another God of Marvel Comics (The One-Above-All) because both share the same name.

The smart one

Mel from Out of My Mind. Read this one if none of the others is on my list! It’s a middle grade, but it works for all ages. Mel cannot walk or talk, but she has a photographic memory and is such a genius! Yet because of her disabilities, she gets overlooked all the time. She has so much to say and share, but everyone sees her as the mute, unable to help herself girl. The game changes throughout the book, but can people keep up with her and change their perception of her? That is the question. Such a good read.

The intelligent one

Matilda. Ah, my favourite little child genius! She was incredibly smart but not in a home that supported her wit and knowledge. I love this story far too much, and it’s a great one to grow up with.

Who suffered a lot but has recovered

Nico from the Percy Jackson Series. I can only say that Nico went through a lot and being the son of Hades, he had to go through it all alone. He lost his sister and mother, and was stuck in the Lotus Hotel and Casino for so many years! He is brave and he suffered a lot but he at least got the person he deserved.

The most loved

Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter Series. Not only was she smart, self-possessed, tough, and well, pretty much always better than Harry and Ron in every way, she never got all self-pitying and boring like they did.

The most famous

Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice. Lizzy is not only her father’s favourite child but the reading public’s favourite child in the mighty family of Austen heroines. Smart, irreverent, independent-minded (something rather extraordinary for her time), and blessed with “a lively, playful disposition, which delighted in anything ridiculous,” she never fails to win me over.

The unique

Albus Dumbledore from Harry Potter. Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore was the headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He was a very wise and powerful wizard who almost every time maintained his serene composure hardly displaying intense emotions. He was a true genius who had genius in knowing, thinking, planning, speaking and almost everything! He carried along with him an aura of positivism, compassion, love and wisdom. Many times he was himself amused by his intelligence. He knew pretty much of everything and understood people and their nature. But this man who knew the personal lives of so many people hardly spoke about his personal life and emotions to anyone- not even to his favourite student, Harry.

Merry Christmas!

Hello Everyone! Merry Christmas! 🎄 🎅🏻

As we get ready to bid goodbye to 2021, we also prepare for the holiday season to begin. It also means that we are all looking forward to one of the most joyous times of the year – the birth of Jesus Christ on December 25, commemorated as Christmas. Around the world, the festival of Christmas marks a religious holiday and a commercial occasion. People celebrate the festive spirit by attending get-togethers with family members, visiting friends and indulging in memorable parties. The celebrations for the festival begins from the evening of December 24, called Christmas Eve.

Significance of Christmas 2021

Christmas holds great significance for the Christian community. They believe that God sent his Son to earth to sacrifice himself. He came to salvage all of humanity and absolve them of their sins. This is why Jesus Christ’s crucifixion symbolises the ultimate sacrifice.

In modern times, Christmas has come to be associated with the mythical figure of Santa Claus, the traditional patron of Christmas in the United States and other countries, bringing gifts to children. He is based on the traditions associated with Saint Nicholas, a 4th Century Saint. It is believed that Santa Claus lives in the North Pole with his many helper elves. Each year, on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus rides on his sleigh from the North Pole to give gifts to children all around the world. And kids wake up early in the morning to open their presents.

To celebrate Christmas, people attend midnight mass at churches on Christmas Eve. Families also prepare an elaborate Christmas feast on this day. People also sing carols at the church. The festival marks the end of the year and symbolises all things heart-warming, blessed and jolly.
