Blogger Interview with Riddhi

Hello Everyone! So here I am with another blogger interview!

I want to thank Riddhi @ Whispering Stories for being part of this interview. She is such a wonderful person and I have actually had the pleasure of interacting with her quite a bit thanks to blogging and I can say without a doubt that you will really enjoy her blog so be sure to check it out. So, let’s start the interview.

a) Tell my readers a bit about yourself and your blog. Why do you blog about the topic you blog about?

Hey everyone! My name is Riddhi, and I am from the blog Whispering Stories. I blog about books mostly, but I also have a bit of music, movies and some other random stuff. I blog about books because they are my first love and have been there for me when no one else was. I also have two other personal blogs- The Human Book Club for advice on all topics and poems and poesies for poetry!

b) What are the topics you write about the most?

Books, as I mentioned!

c) What is your favourite thing about blogging?

Interacting with all these amazing people, and getting to express my love for books, writing poetry and giving out advice!

d) Which bloggers or blogs do you admire and why?

Oh, there are so many! But I won’t name them, since the list will probably take up the entire blog post, haha!

e) What would you say is your biggest strength as a writer?

I feel like even though I have a small audience, I can still influence that amount of people, and I am glad my writing and the internet and my readers have given me this power.

f) Where do you see yourself in five years?

Hopefully, in a little more than five years, I’ll be earning! I think I’ll still be blogging and hopefully have started a YouTube channel. Hopefully, I’ll also still have a band of loyal friends. And well, I highly doubt it, but who knows, I might even be in a stable relationship! And oh, if I apply for a home loan then, I hope my salary is enough for a house big enough to fit my books- I don’t want to unhaul them!

g) What would be your perfect day? Plan it out from waking up to bedtime.

Honestly, there was this one day after my exams, when I lay in bed all day, reading, binge-watching and eating, and that was my perfect day, haha!

h) What’s your favourite thing you own and why?

My book collection, for sure!

i) What genres of books are you most into? What are some of your favourite authors in the genre?

I love contemporaries and mysteries! My favourite contemporary authors… hmm.., well Kasie West and Holly Bourne but I literally pick any author depending on the synopsis of my book. For mysteries, I love Agatha Christie and Karen M. McManus!

j) Any feedback for my blog?

It’s pretty good for a newbie, but you definitely still need practice.

Blogger Interview with Dhriti

Hello Everyone! So here I am with another blogger interview!

I want to thank Dhriti @ The Tomboy Diaries for being part of this interview.

My name is Dhriti Keni. I’m an extroverted 12-year-old tomboy. I despise math. Umm… I enjoy watching sports and reading books (but not textbooks of course). My blog has both reading and writing-related content, ranging from me doing tags to posting short writings. I write from time to time, with no set schedule because I can’t seem to stick to anything. I also post quirky and fun material. I enjoy blogging and making friends through WordPress. And that’s all I got.

b) What are the topics you write about the most?

My story series, The Super Spy, poems, short stories, and whatnot.

c) What is your favourite thing about blogging?

It helps me improve my writing skills, and reading short stories and poems on other blogs is really fun.

d) Which bloggers or blogs do you admire and why?

Nehal from Quirky Pages, she knows how to make a person laugh when they are down in the dumps and she writes amazingly (don’t get too cocky Nehal 😜) also Riddhi from Whispering Stories, she has a very kind heart and helping nature. She has great writing skills.

e) What would you say is your biggest strength as a writer?

Probably my creativity and imagination, I can make up stories in one second.  “A pen is mightier than a sword”.

f) Where do you see yourself in five years?

In 5 years, I’ll be 17. I’ll probably be a 12th grader blogger and author.

g) What would be your perfect day? Plan it out from waking up to bedtime.

Waking up to the sounds of birds chirping, breathing fresh air with a scent of green leave, staring at the beautiful mountains; the light blue clear sky and the valley. Then wake up go jogging in that windy atmosphere with music. Coming back home, reading a book. Eating noodles. Most importantly I should be surrounded by love. By people who have seen me entirely as who I am and said ‘She makes my life better’. By friends who laugh at my stupid jokes, who take pictures with me, who pat me on the head, who pull me in for hugs, who let me sleep on their lap. Friends who share the last piece, who thought of me when they saw this, whose eyes light up when I tell them about my ideas. I am seen. Seen by people who enjoy my company and never fail to point out my efforts. I should be experiencing something new. New life, new feelings, new buildings, new sounds, new monuments, new sunsets and stars. I am exploring a new world of adventure and possibility. I should be laughing. I should be myself. I’m hiding nothing about the recipe that makes me uniquely who I am. I am proud of myself. I feel perfectly at home in my skin and I’ve rented you out a room in my heart. Overall, I should be so happy.

(Or)

On a beach, away from the worries and the responsibilities of the world. A little music, a little silence. A good book, some sumptuous food. A soul at peace, on a never-ending day. After reading, if I get bored. I could go swimming, have some fun. Or maybe Travelling, travelling to Paris, New York….completing my bucket list, living life.

h) What’s your favourite thing you own and why?

I have a BFF diary, which my bestie and I wrote. She is still my BFF even though I have left that school. It was during 3rd grade. And some lucky marbles. Also a Rose quartz and Amethyst I had as a kid. And how could I forget, my precious iPad, really dear to my heart.

i) What genres of books are you most into? What are some of your favourite authors in the genre?

I read fiction, fantasy, sometimes middle grade, mystery. Probably all genres. It depends on my mood. I don’t have a favourite author, I read all authors. If I had to choose it would be JK Rowling and Rick Riordan.

j) Any feedback for my blog?

First off, I’m also new to this whole blogging thing. I’m still figuring it out. But let me just say that you are an amazing writer, you are really creative. And of course smart. Anyway thanks for having me here.

Blogger Interview with Devangi

Hello Everyone! So here I am with my first blogger interview!

I want to thank Devangi @ Just penning down my thoughts for being part of this interview.

I’m Devangi, a weird and smart teen who is obsessed with reading books and penning down her thoughts to allow my readers to enjoy the fine poems and articles I write about. (Side note: I may not be a being of this planet, hence, the word ‘weird’) I mostly blog about every stuff related to my life,  or emotions that I experience, though I won’t quite say that I’m a lifestyle blogger. Do random ramblings make me a random blogger? Maybe.

b) What are the topics you write about the most?

Well, I think I’ve written more about topics that range around different emotions a human can experience. As an extraterrestrial, human emotions baffle me and I love to go about experiencing them and write them down.

c) What is your favourite thing about blogging?

My favourite thing about blogging is that I enjoy it because it gives me a sense of freedom and expression. I sometimes tend to struggle with voicing myself but blogging gives me that freedom. Plus I can socialise with like-minded people, so that’s a win-win for me;).

d) Which bloggers or blogs do you admire and why?

I admire every blog/blogger I follow because all of them have their own genuine quirks which I love to read about. Originality is what I appreciate most of all, and if I follow a blog, it’s because I really am interested in their content and love to consume it.

e) What would you say is your biggest strength as a writer?

I’d say being a writer is the biggest strength itself. Not everyone can organise their thoughts into poems or expand their imagination and create stories. You see, it’s difficult, and I’m still learning it every other day. But the fact that I can write down what I think and feel is the greatest asset one can have as a writer.

f) Where do you see yourself in five years?

Back to my planet, living peacefully, after finishing my task on Earth, just kidding. I never knew that I could be on earth too, but here I am, so who knows where I’ll be in five years? Jupiter? All I know is that wherever I will be, I would want to be a better version of myself, a better and happy person.

g) What would be your perfect day? Plan it out from waking up to bedtime.

A perfect day for me would be when I’m home alone. It’s an impossible dream for me because I live in a big family. And this is how it’d go: after bathing, I’d be making my breakfast with my Spotify playlist shuffling in the background. Then perched on the bed with a book in my hand, that’ll be most of my day because I seem to forget the time when I’m totally engrossed in reading. If I don’t feel like reading, I’d be most probably be watching a movie or having a call with my best friend. Or if I go ‘active’ mode, I’d clean my house and do all the chores, because chilling amidst untidiness is not what I can do.

h) What’s your favourite thing you own and why?

I’d say, my bicycle and my diaries(I own three), plus my writing journals; they are my treasures. I can hop on my bicycle and go off anywhere whenever I wish, not that I’ve that much freedom but yeah, it feels good because then I don’t have to worry about the money spent on travelling, and it’s nature friendly too;) And I’ve a hell lot of scribbles and rambles in my diary, and they are kind of memories too. And I keep a book decorated with all hand-drawn stuff in which I write down my poems every time I write a new one.

j) What genres of books are you most into? What are some of your favourite authors in the genre?

I like to read every genre as long as it interests me, with non-fiction being an exception. I’ve read children’s books (when I was definitely not a child), fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary, YA (that’s okayish, to be honest), and classics (my favourite). I think I can say that I adore Jane Austen books. They tell us so much about society through our simple daily lifestyle. It’s set in the 18th century but it’s so relatable even in this era. Besides that, I am curious to read Ruskin Bond’s books and discover some good Indian writers. Do tell me if you have any recommendations!

k) Any feedback for my blog?

Not really, you’re doing so great!

I enjoyed this interview a lot! Thanks for having me on board :D.
